Australia is land full of extremes. Ranging from dry and hot deserts in the heart of the continent , pockets of lush and green, centuries old rainforests and all the way to some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

My photographic journey has started as a result of my deep appreciation and connection with this ancient land. Particularly I am drown to photograph water and feel strong attraction towards energy present in its  numerous shapes and forms .

Living just minutes away from the beach gives me the freedom to get there easily and photograph it any time of the day. It always amazes me how different beach will look every time I visit it.

The Australian sun is known for its strength and harsh light which can destroy any hope to capture subtle textures and vivid colors in a photograph. For that reason I  prefer the weather to be slightly overcast as those conditions will usually produce less aggressive and more forgiving light to work with.

This series of  images is part of my ongoing project to capture and record  mystery of the ocean waves. Attempt to reveal certain aspects of their  nature, to clarify their essence and finally to present it in a pleasing and visually interesting photographs.

Dynamic nature makes them always challenging subjects to photograph. It requires true interest , devotion and focused persistence to develop understanding about their formations and to some extent predictability of their movement.

For me “Wave Magic” continues to provide  a source of inspiration and motivation to create new photographs. Look for Update of this post as new photographs become available.
